  Jefferson Fords Loan Car Policy

Jefferson Ford will provide Replacement Vehicles to customers based only on the following procedures:

01. Due to a heavy demand, Replacement Vehicles need to be booked well in advance by the customer. (A suitable time must be allocated based on availability of Replacement Vehicles).

02. A current driver's licence in the customer’s name must be produced for photocopying along with other proof of identity and address as required at the time. (No vehicle can be released without proof that the customer holds a current driver's licence).

03. During the period of replacement the vehicle is to be driven only by the person recorded on the signed Loan Car Agreement.

04. The customer replaces any fuel used during the period of replacement.

05. The customer agrees to use the vehicle in a safe, law abiding manner and only for purposes which the type of vehicle is intended to be used.

06. The customer is personally responsible for any fines or penalties whatsoever incurred during the period of replacement.                                               

07. The Customer is required to pay an insurance excess as set out below in the event of any loss or damage whatsoever being caused to the vehicle during the period of replacement.

08. The prescribed Loan Car Agreement Form must be fully agreed to, signed and completed by the customer, or the car cannot be provided.

09. If the replacement vehicle is not returned on the agreed day, a fee of $40.00* per day will be charged to your invoice.

10. Without your co-operation customers who have booked a replacement vehicle the following day will be inconvenienced. There will be no exception to these terms and conditions unless approved by the Service Manager.
